Flight Tickets

Haven't booked your flights yet?

Please send us your flight details as soon as possible so we know everyone's arrival times.

For arrival, please fly into Hurghada (HRG) and book your flight so that you land no later than 3:30 PM, so we can all board the yacht smoothly. If someone arrives late, the departure will unfortunately have to be postponed by one day.

Send Kaja your flight numbers, dates and times once booked.

Transport to the Yacht

Transfer from Hurghada Airport to the marina will be organized for the group - details and timing to follow once everyone's flights are confirmed.

Arriving early?

If you land before the group transfer / boarding time, head to the Marriott hotel right next to the marina. For 20 EUR you can get a day pass that includes access to the pool, bar and restaurant - a great way to relax before we set sail.

Visa & Documents

To enter Egypt you'll need a passport valid for at least 6 months and a visa, which is usually available on arrival or as an e-visa online. You can apply for the e-visa here:

Weather

Expect classic Red Sea summer conditions: air temperatures around 34-38°C, water around 27-29°C, and reliable thermal/Shamal wind from the north, typically 15-25 knots in the afternoon. Pack accordingly - lots of sun, warm evenings, and good wind for kiting.

Onboard Wifi

The yacht has onboard wifi, but signal can be slow or unavailable once we're out at sea or anchored near remote islands. Don't rely on it for important calls or large uploads.

eSIM Recommended

For reliable mobile data, we recommend buying an Egypt (or regional) eSIM before you travel via Airalo. Install it before departure since you may not have wifi to set it up once onboard.

Pyramids

Pyramids of Giza

After we disembark from the yacht, there's an optional stop in Cairo to visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx before flying home.

The plan is that on July 11th we'll leave the yacht and stay overnight in Cairo, with some sightseeing through the day. On the morning of July 12th, we'll head to the pyramids for a tour.

We need to know who's joining, so please let us know. Just write an email or WhatsApp message to Kaja.

Note: modest clothing is recommended for visiting these sites.
